| HARDY MYERS, PRESIDENT & CEO |
Hardy Myers is the President & CEO of Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST). Since September 2003, when he assumed this leadership position, AVST's software solution, CallXpress®, has become the premier enterprise communications platform designed to facilitate the migration from legacy TDM call processing and voice mail solutions to new IP-enabled unified communications solutions, delivering the interoperability, scalability, feature flexibility and administrative capabilities enterprise IT and Telecom teams are demanding. Over the past 20 years, in addition to leading AVST, Mr. Myers has held senior management positions with emerging private and public companies in the telecommunications, automotive, aerospace and defense market sectors with a primary focus on building organizations and raising the capital necessary to capitalize on the growth opportunities in a given market. Mr. Myers holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

| MIKE BERLIN, VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT |
Mike Berlin joined AVST in February 2005. Mr. Berlin brings over twenty years of sales, marketing, and management experience to AVST. From 2002 to early 2005, Mr. Berlin worked for Interactive Intelligence Inc. (I3) (NASDAQ: ININ), a global developer of software for IP telephony, contact center automation, unified communications, and customer self-service. In his position as Director of the Communications Solutions Group at Interactive Intelligence, Mr. Berlin was responsible for building and managing the organization and securing nationwide distribution for I3's unified communications solution, Communité. From 1992 to 2001, Mr. Berlin assumed positions of increasing responsibility with Mitel Networks Corporation, a leading global provider of enterprise and small business communications solutions and services. During his tenure at Mitel Networks, Mr. Berlin served as Vice President Messaging & Applications and General Manager of the Advanced Messaging Division (Baypoint Innovations) where he managed all aspects of Mitel's messaging and applications product portfolio. Prior to joining Mitel Networks, Mr. Berlin served in various managerial positions at Intecom Inc., Fujitsu Business Communications, and Interwest Communications. Mr. Berlin also served five years in the United States Marine Corps.

| PAUL CHESLAW, VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER, EMEA |
Paul Cheslaw joined AVST in January 2006. Mr. Cheslaw brings over 20 years of experience in selling and supporting enterprise communications to customers worldwide. For the past 15 years, Mr. Cheslaw has been primarily focused on developing, building and managing the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) operations of various firms in the enterprise communications market segment. From early 2003 until joining AVST, Mr. Cheslaw served as the Managing Partner, EMEA for Executive Conversation International, a consulting firm that focuses on strategic sales training for senior management and sales personnel of various high technology companies including Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Intel, Hewlett-Packard and British Telecom. From 2002 to early 2003, Mr. Cheslaw was a partner for BWT Associates, London, the European operations of BWT, a private equity firm headquartered in South Africa, where his primary responsibilities included the evaluation and placement of various investments for the firm's investment portfolio. In 2001, Mr. Cheslaw served as Vice President & Managing Director, Europe for Annuncio Software, an e-CRM solution provider that was acquired by PeopleSoft Corporation in early 2002. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Cheslaw served as the Managing Director, Europe for Latitude Communications, Inc., the developer of the world's first voice and data collaboration server. Latitude went public in 1999 and was subsequently acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. in 2003. From 1987 to 1997, Mr. Cheslaw served in various positions of increasing responsibility for Octel Communications Corporation and prior to their merger, VMX, Inc., including Vice President, Unified Messaging Division, Vice President, Client Server Software Division and Managing Director, Europe during which time VMX achieved the leading position in the European voice processing market through the establishment of long-term distribution agreements with British Telecom, Mercury Communications, Ericsson, Siemens and other major distributors throughout EMEA. Mr. Cheslaw has resided in London since 1987.

| FRANK DELOSSANTOS, VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE & CORPORATE CONTROLLER |
Frank Delossantos joined the Company in June 2004. Mr. Delossantos has over 15 years of financial and accounting management experience working for various technology companies including, most recently, the position of Corporate Controller for BTC Power, Inc., a supplier of power conversion products. From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Delossantos served as the Director of Finance for Connected Systems Corporation, an OEM provider of voice processing hardware. Prior to working at Connected Systems, Mr. Delossantos served as the Controller and Treasurer of Racal Instruments, Inc., a provider of test and measurement products. From 1987 to 1989, Mr. Delossantos served as the Accounting Manager of Gulton Servonic, a manufacturer of electronic instruments for the aerospace and industrial markets. Mr. Delossantos has a MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Finance. Mr. Delossantos is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.

| DENNY MICHAEL, VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING |
Mr. Michael joined the Company in May 2003. From 2002 to early 2003, Mr. Michael served as Executive Vice President of Marketing for Starbase Software Corporation, a publicly traded developer of application lifecycle management software. During his tenure at Starbase, Mr. Michael was responsible for developing and implementing the marketing campaign to reestablish the leadership position of Starbase's applications and technology in the company's target market segments. Mr. Michael was also a key member of the senior management team that facilitated the sale of Starbase to Borland Software Corporation in January 2003. From 1996 to 2001, Mr. Michael served as Vice President of Marketing at NQL, Inc., a publicly traded software company that developed one of the world's first commercially available intelligent agent languages (Network Query Language) used for massive content gathering and publishing. Prior to NQL, Mr. Michael held various marketing management positions at AST Computers, Inc and Alpha Microsystems. Mr. Michael holds a B.A. degree from California State University, Fullerton.

| TOM MINIFIE, VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT |
Tom Minifie joined AVST as a result of the Company's acquisition of the CallXpress division of Captaris, Inc., formerly Applied Voice Technology ("AVT"). During his ten-year career at Captaris/AVT, Mr. Minifie served in positions of increasing responsibility in the sales, business development and marketing organizations. Originally hired as the Product Manager for AVT's Automated Agent product, Mr. Minifie spent his first six years in product marketing and product management, overseeing the introduction of Automated Agent, Desktop Message Manager, CallXpress Unified Messaging and Desktop Call Manager applications. Mr. Minifie spent the past four years in the sales and business development organizations of Captaris managing the major strategic partner relationships including NEC Business Network Systems, Sphere Communications, Cisco Systems, and Alcatel. Prior to joining Captaris/AVT, Tom held various sales and marketing positions within the high tech industry. Mr. Minifie earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.

| DOUG MURRAY, VICE PRESIDENT OF ENGINEERING |
Doug Murray joined AVST as a result of the Company's acquisition of the CallXpress division of Captaris, Inc., formerly Applied Voice Technology ("AVT"). Mr. Murray was the cofounder of AVT in 1982 and led the original design and development of the CallXpress product line. Over the past 22 years, Mr. Murray has continued to lead the ongoing research and development of the CallXpress product line including significant innovations in the utilization of off-the-shelf technology, globalization, networking, IVR, and unified messaging. These engineering initiatives have continued to extend the position of the CallXpress product line as a state-of-the-art business communications solution. Mr. Murray was also responsible for developing the integration to Avaya Communication’s Octel messaging platform, a project that took over a year to complete and was ultimately sold to Cisco Systems for in excess of $15 million. Mr. Murray received a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from The Evergreen State College.

Steve Rishel joined AVST in June 2007. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Rishel was Senior Vice President — Core Technologies Group for SAFLINK Corporation, a publicly traded biometric security software firm, where he led SAFLINK's federal sales, sales engineering, technical support, and information technology departments. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Rishel ran Paragon Operations Partnership, offering consulting services to technology companies in the areas of support operations, supply chain management, and order fulfillment. From 1991 to 2002, Mr. Rishel worked for Captaris, Inc. (formerly "Applied Voice Technology" and "AVT"), a publicly traded unified communications, fax and fax services, and wireless communications integrator where, in his most recent position as Senior Vice President of Operations, Mr. Rishel responsibilities included strategic planning for, and executive management of, customer support, supply chain, systems integration, and information systems. From 1990 to 1991, Mr. Rishel served as Operations Manager for PacTel Meridian Business Systems. Prior to PacTel, Mr. Rishel held positions of increasing responsibility with Teleconnect, Inc., Honeywell Communication Services, and United Technologies Communications.
