Nearly 100 CallXpress end users, AVST employees and industry professionals will gather at one of the most famous desert oases — Las Vegas, Nevada — to hear the latest on AVST product offerings, including an introduction to CallXpress 8.0. We expect the event will provide an ideal environment to network, share ideas, explore the latest IT technology trends and celebrate recent innovations and applications within our industry.

All CallXpress end users with current XpressCare contracts will receive free admission to the welcome reception, all conference sessions, breakouts, and scheduled conference meals. The goal of the conference is for CallXpress users to establish working relationships with other IT / telephony administrators to enhance their experience with CallXpress. The CallXpress End User Conference will be at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Sunday, August 3rd through Tuesday, August 5th.

CallXpress User Group

Ever wonder how your peers are using CallXpress? Have an idea for future enhancements? AVST will be introducing the CallXpress User Group at its inaugural End User Conference, and we are looking for technology enthusiasts like you who want to get the most out of their CallXpress systems. By attending the Oasis, you will have the opportunity to help shape the direction and development of the CallXpress User Group.

The purpose of the CallXpress User Group is to provide a forum for CallXpress users with current XpressCare contracts to share information and contribute to the development of AVST products. AVST launched the first phase of the CallXpress User Group in July 2007. One of the main benefits of group membership is participation in the CallXpress Online Community which will allow current users to collaborate with their peers via the web. AVST Customer Advisory Council (CAC) members will be introduced and available during the question and answer forum.

Educational breakouts ranging from technical material to solution-oriented programs will be offered in a round-table format. Discussions will be facilitated by CallXpress subject matter experts as well as end users. All breakouts are customized to allow time for interaction between attendees and facilitators.

ScheduleXpress Certificate Course &
Technology Challenge
(10:00 - 12:00 Session A and 12:30 - 2:30 pm Session B)

Pre-registration required. The first 50 attendees who register online by July 3rd to attend the Oasis will receive free admission to a two-hour CallXpress certificate course and technology challenge. Due to class size restrictions, attendees will be assigned to either Session A or Session B.

Course Description: Learn how to manage your Auto-attendant functions from a spreadsheet with ScheduleXpress, an ancillary application used to augment the Extension Specific Processing (ESP) capabilities of CallXpress. ScheduleXpress provides the ability to configure individual subscriber ESP Call Processor mailboxes on a time of day, day of week, or specific date basis. This gives the administrator the ability to create sophisticated personal and departmental menus as well as interactive audio menu applications for specific extensions based on time and date.

Who should attend Oasis?
Intended for all CallXpress End Users, from Telecom Administrators, IT managers to senior IT business executives, and network developers to network engineers. Users MUST provide proof of product purchase and current XpressCare contract at time of registration.

What is the cost to attend?
The registration cost for the event is FREE for CallXpress end users with current XpressCare contracts.

Can more than one person attend from each company?
Yes, more than one can attend.

How do I register to attend and has AVST secured any special room rates for this event?
Space is limited and reigstration is on a first come, first served basis. Complete our online form to register your attendance, however registration with AVST will not secure a hotel room for you. You must contact the hotel directly at 800-693-6763 and ask for the AVST User Group or group code SCAVST0808 before July 3rd to make your hotel reservations.

Do attendees make their own travel plans and do they pay their own way?
Yes, attendees must make their own plans and pay for their travel and expenses to and from Oasis, including hotel rooms. AVST is taking on the expenses of bringing the event to end users, including hosting meetings and meals.

May I bring a guest to the Oasis?
Guests are invited to attend the evening social events. Due to insurance restrictions however we are not able to include children in these functions.

What should I wear?
The conference is a corporate event, so business casual wear is strongly encouraged.
