Tom Minifie, Vice President of Product Management, will share his insights into one of the most important releases of CallXpress in recent history.

In this two-part presentation, Neil Butler, Director of Sales Engineering, will discuss how the new CallXpress architecture changes address needs for centralization, scalability, redundancy, mobility and networking, as well as how to introduce speech recognition applications into your user and call applications.

Denny Michael, Vice President of Marketing and Jennifer Ross, Web 2.0 Project Manager, will introduce the CallXpress User Group and lead a group discussion on AVST's plans for building an online community for end users. AVST Customer Advisory Council (CAC) members will be introduced and available during the question and answer forum.

Breakouts (8:00 - 9:45 am)
Educational breakouts ranging from technical material to solution-oriented programs will be offered in a round-table format. Discussions will be facilitated by CallXpress subject matter experts as well as end users. All breakouts are customized to allow time for interaction between attendees and facilitators.
ScheduleXpress Certificate Course &
Technology Challenge
(10:00 - 12:00 Session A and 12:30 - 2:30 pm Session B)
Pre-registration required. The first 50 attendees who register online by July 3rd to attend the Oasis will receive free admission to a two-hour CallXpress certificate course and technology challenge. Due to class size restrictions, attendees will be assigned to either Session A or Session B.
Course Description: Learn how to manage your Auto-attendant functions from a spreadsheet with ScheduleXpress, an ancillary application used to augment the Extension Specific Processing (ESP) capabilities of CallXpress. ScheduleXpress provides the ability to configure individual subscriber ESP Call Processor mailboxes on a time of day, day of week, or specific date basis. This gives the administrator the ability to create sophisticated personal and departmental menus as well as interactive audio menu applications for specific extensions based on time and date.
