Active Voice to Showcase Kinesis® 2.9 Unified Messaging Solution at the 2007 ITEC Conference in Ft. Lauderdale

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, USA—January 25, 2007— Today at the Internet Telephony Expo and Conference, Active Voice, LLC, a global provider of voice mail, unified messaging and speech-activated solutions, announced it would showcase its new Kinesis unified messaging system Version 2.9 in the Dialogic Pavilion. In addition to providing true unified messaging with Microsoft Exchange, Kinesis Version 2.9 adds an affordable AV Message Store option for a highly cost effective voice messaging solution.

For enterprises with aging Octel or Centigram messaging systems, Kinesis V2.9 provides an ideal migration path offering Octel Aria® and Serenade® and Centigram telephone user interface emulators. These emulators allow employees to use familiar menus and commands to access and manage their messages, virtually eliminating the need for re-training on basic voice mail functionality. Kinesis system can be networked and interoperates with legacy voice mail system via an optional, OctelNet gateway, AMIS, and VPIM. Kinesis also supports multi-domain Active Directories used by large enterprises.

Kinesis delivers a wide range of messaging and mobility features that can help companies streamline communications and business workflow. The Kinesis system provide convenient access to voice, fax, and e-mail messages from the phones, Outlook clients, or browsers, helping to improve employee productivity and maximize collaboration.

Dialogic will be announcing their new Dialogic Partner Program at the show. “We at Active Voice are delighted and honored to be a member of the new Dialogic Partner Program. We have been a member of the original program since 1996. Our continued strong relationship with Dialogic gives us this opportunity to launch our new Kinesis unified messaging system V2.9 here in the Dialogic Pavilion at the ITEC. With our modular architecture, we can offer customers a very cost effective, UM-ready, voice mail solution that has their familiar legacy Octel/Avaya or Centigram/Mitel prompts. The same system easily upgrades to full UM with Microsoft Exchange, and scales to support large, and geographically distributed enterprises. Partnering with a technology leader like Dialogic is core to our strategy of building best-in-class UM/UC solutions for our customers.” says Victor Foia, president and CEO of Active Voice.

Kinesis is scalable up to 360 ports and 20,000 users on a cluster of servers that can be deployed across several geographical locations to provide disaster recovery and fail-over protection. Kinesis V2.9 will be available later this quarter. Active Voice’s Kinesis messaging solutions are available through its Authorized Reseller channel.
