Active Voice Ranks Third for North American Systems Shipped in New InfoTech Report

SEATTLE, WA—February 5, 2008 - Active Voice, LLC, a global leader in Unified Messaging, Unified Communications and speech-activated solutions, today announced its position as the third leading Unified Messaging provider for messaging systems shipped in North America, according to the InfoTrack for Converged Applications (ICA): First Half of 2007 (1H07) North American Report, published by The Telecom Intelligence Group (InfoTech).

“Active Voice continued to show very strong growth in the first half of 2007 versus the prior comparable period in 2006,” said Ken Dolsky, Vice President and ICA Program Director at InfoTech. “The report shows that North America mailbox shipments by Active Voice rose by 32 percent in 1H07 compared to 1H06, and the company increased its market share in overall mailbox shipments from 7.2 percent to 9.3 percent over the same periods placing third in North America system shipments.”

The release of Kinesis 3.0 for enterprises and Repartee 10.0 for small-to-mid size businesses (SMBs) continued the Company’s momentum in differentiating itself from other providers.

Data and analysis presented in this ICA report focused on messaging system shipments in North America for the first half of 2007. ICA tracked the shipment of messaging mailboxes/seats and messaging systems for both IP and TDM systems. ICA also tracked shipments of messaging mailboxes/seats in two categories: voice messaging (voice-only capability) and Unified messaging (voice, e-mail and fax messages unified in the same messaging mailbox).
