AVST Demonstrates the New CX-Series at Enterprise Connect

Chief Technology Officer Presents Five Megatrends Driving the Future of Unified Communications

ORLANDO, Fla., March 26, 2012 –This week at Enterprise Connect 2012, Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) will demonstrate for the first time its newly introduced product line, the CX-Series. Having recently launched the CX-Series, AVST will focus on the main features and benefits of the new product family for customers and channel partners.  The CX-Series, which consists of CX-S, CX-E and CX-C, brings feature rich, highly interoperable Unified Communications (UC) solutions that deliver premise-based, private and public cloud offerings to organizations of all sizes. AVST can be located at booth #933 at Enterprise Connect in Orlando, Florida.

Additionally, Tom Minifie, Chief Technology Officer of AVST, will be speaking on the “Five Megatrends Driving the Future of UC” on Monday, March 26th in the Osceola 1 room. Interoperability, cloud, context-aware mobility, business process optimization, and the consumerization of IT are the five driving forces that will shape the future of UC, and will all be discussed in detail during Minifie's presentation.

At Enterprise Connect, AVST will conduct live sessions at their booth which will focus on how businesses can solve critical UC business challenges in four core areas:

  • UC-Interoperability - Best practices for how to deploy UC in a rapidly evolving IT landscape
  • UC-Mobile - Enable smartphone users to manage both their personal and business communications on the same device – all while ensuring the security of their business data
  • UC-Voice - Optimize UC infrastructure by centralizing communications into a data center/private cloud model, all at their own pace
  • UC-Business Process - Integrate communications with information to accelerate information flow to customers  and reduce human latency

“Our CX-Series delivers highly interoperable UC solutions to meet every size market segment,” said Denny Michael, Vice President of Marketing for AVST.  “Whether a premise, private cloud, hybrid or public cloud approach is in their future, we will educate users at Enterprise Connect on how they can best evolve and prepare for their transition.”

Enterprise Connect attendees should keep an eye out for AVST’s theatre-style booth (Booth #933) for their chance to win one of the many GoPro action cameras being awarded during the event.  For more information about AVST’s CX-Series, please visit the company website at www.avst.com.

About AVST

The typical enterprise communications infrastructure is made up of a collection of technologies from multiple vendors, acquired over time and never intended to work together. To maximize user and business productivity, while leveraging existing IT investments, interoperability is a must.

AVST delivers the industry's most interoperable Unified Communications (UC) platform that brings best-of-breed voice, mobility and business process solutions to the enterprise. Unlike virtually every other UC vendor, AVST does not constrain customers with a single vendor lock-in approach. In fact, it's the very opposite. By connecting new and existing technologies, AVST frees organizations from the constraints of a closed, single-source UC solution, unlocking the full potential of their communications infrastructure.

With over 15 million users worldwide and three decades of innovation excellence, AVST is unifying communications®.

Headquartered in Orange County, California, AVST maintains facilities in Seattle, Washington, Victoria B.C., Canada and the United Kingdom and has remote sales offices throughout the United States.
