AVST Showcases CallXpress 8 at NEC Users Group Conference
Demonstrates Powerful Unified Communications Solution; Underscores Commitment to Enhancing Communications for Small to Large Enterprises
Bellevue, Wash., May 17, 2010 – Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) is demonstrating its CallXpress® 8 Unified Communications (UC) solution at the annual NEC Users Group Conference this week at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, Wash. AVST is spotlighting its CallXpress platform emphasizing its powerful features and support for NEC’s products.
Having recently announced a strategic technology relationship with NEC, AVST will be on hand this week to meet with NEC users to demonstrate the unique capabilities of CallXpress and its integration with NEC’s product portfolio. CallXpress supports NEC telephony switches with up to 10 integrations on a single CallXpress system. In addition, NEC has integrated their MA 4000 with CallXpress to provide system administrators with a single application to manage user information across multiple communication applications.
“We have a long history of enhancing communications for small, medium and large enterprises and our recent announcement with NEC underscores our ongoing commitment to that goal,” said Denny Michael, AVST Vice President of Marketing. “We have a strong relationship with NEC, and will continue to ensure that our products integrate easily with their product offerings while providing the industry’s most interoperable UC solution with scalability and resiliency.”
In addition to product demonstrations, AVST is participating in a breakout session during the conference to educate NEC customers as they consider a migration to UC:
- “Ten Steps to Securing a Strong ROI on Your Legacy Voicemail Migration to Unified Communications,” presented by Hardy Myers, AVST President & CEO, scheduled for Tuesday, May 18, at 1:30 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue.
The annual NEC Users Group Conference gives all active member companies of the NEC Users Group the opportunity to come together in an organized forum for sharing ideas and expertise with other users while making valuable professional contacts. Attendees to the annual event include NEC executives, systems integrators and end users.
