Foothill Ranch, Calif., Oct. 13, 2004Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST), a leading provider of second generation communications solutions for the enterprise market, today announced its Platinum sponsorship of the 2004 Annual International Association of Messaging Professionals (IAMP) Conference to be held in Coral Gables, Florida from October 17 – 21, 2004.  During the event, AVST’s executive team will kick off its “Know Your Options” market education campaign by introducing an Octel Resource Kit, delivering key speeches, and demonstrating its industry-leading CallXpress® unified communications platform and its Seneca™ speech applications module.

Catering to professionals that manage and deploy voice messaging and unified messaging as strategic components of their enterprise communications solution set, this year’s IAMP conference will focus on educating participants on a wide array of topics from tax benefits to innovative technologies and techniques.  Attendees include some of the largest messaging users in the world including multinational and Fortune 1000 companies.  AVST’s goal at the show, through the kick off of its “Know Your Options” market education campaign, is to help those users gain a deeper understanding of the options available to them as they develop next generation communications strategies for their companies.

“The IAMP Conference is the perfect venue for us to introduce our new Octel Resource Kit and showcase our innovative communications solutions to a targeted audience of messaging users and professionals,” said Denny Michael, Vice President of Marketing at AVST.  “It provides an educational forum where participants are open to new ideas and are ready to learn about and adopt new communications strategies that can have a positive impact on the performance of their companies.  We are pleased to participate in this event by being a major sponsor as well as providing featured speakers.”
