Channel Partners Gather at AVST’s Annual Oasis

UC Marketplace; AVST’s Product Offerings Highlighted at Reseller Conference

LAS VEGAS, September 20, 2011 – This week at the Wynn Encore resort, Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc. (AVST) will host its annual Oasis Reseller Conference, September 21-23, in Las Vegas. The conference is designed to educate AVST’s highly influential audience on the corporate roadmap and product offerings, as well as marketing, sales and business development initiatives. The event will be attended by AVST’s top resellers from around the world.

To kick things off, AVST President & CEO, Hardy Myers, will present the state of the market and a corporate update.  In addition, AVST Chief Technology Officer, Tom Minifie, will be on hand to outline the company’s product strategy and roadmap moving forward.

Highlights of this year’s Oasis Reseller Conference include:

Spotlight on UC
Hardy Myers, AVST’s President & CEO, will address the evolution of unified communications. Myers will explore how companies are successfully transitioning to unified communications solutions, with a focus on how they can become more efficient and process oriented through automating critical processes within their businesses.

Sales Strategy and Case Studies
AVST’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Mike Berlin, will lead an informative and collaborative exchange of ideas and strategies focused on selling CallXpress®. Berlin will also present industry specific problem/solution/success case studies.

EMEA Update
Giving updates on the company’s global reach and overseas sales strategies will be Paul Cheslaw, Vice President and Regional Manager for AVST’s EMEA business.

AVST Active Product Roadmap
AVST will spotlight the 2012 product roadmap for reseller partners.  This will give participants the opportunity to understand the development strategy behind new products and a roadmap to the future of unified communications.
