CoMatrix and Sound Advantage Sign Long-Term Agreement for Distribution of Mobility Messenger™, a Speech-Enabled Communications Solution for Small Businesses
Irvine, Calif., (July 15, 2003) – Sound Advantage announced today that Anaheim, Calif.-based CoMatrix Inc. has signed a long-term agreement to distribute Mobility Messenger™, a speech-enabled communications solution specifically designed and priced to meet the emerging communications requirements and budgets of small businesses. The product will be available for shipment in late July 2003.
Mobility Messenger’s features include speech-enabled auto attendant and voice mail, find-me/follow-me functionality and remote office call forwarding. Specifically designed to integrate with Avaya, Nortel and Toshiba telephone systems, the Mobility Messenger solution ships “turnkey” including all necessary hardware, software, installation instructions and end user training documentation as well as 90 days of remote telephone support provide by Sound Advantage.
The Mobility Messenger’s auto attendant utilizes a speech interface to efficiently route incoming calls to the desired person, department or company information. Significantly, the find-me/follow-me and remote call forwarding functionality built into the auto attendant enables customers to be connected to employees regardless of their current location. By deploying the Mobility Messenger’s speech-enabled auto attendant, companies can eliminate outdated touch-tone systems that frustrate customers and result in a large number of incomplete calls and messages. Sound Advantage utilizes state of the art speech technology from Nuance Communications in its Mobility Messenger product to ensure a superior level of speech recognition.
"By joining forces with Sound Advantage, we can now offer our resellers and their customers a small business communications solution that provides world class speech-enabled functionality and mobility features previously unavailable to this segment of the market," said Robert Bernstein, president of CoMatrix.
"Signing CoMatrix as a distribution partner furthers our goal of providing competitive speech-enabled communications solutions to meet the current and emerging communications requirements of the small business market," said Hardy Myers, president, Sound Advantage.
