Active Voice to Demonstrate Repartee for Windows 2000 at COMDEX
"This latest version of Repartee builds on the strong Microsoft® Windows 2000 platform with features that enhance worker productivity, increase port capacity, and target the international market," said Mike Prescott, vice president of marketing for Active Voice. "We will continue to aggressively develop the Repartee for Windows 2000 products with innovative features that allow people to communicate in the most convenient and efficient way possible."
The Repartee for Windows 2000 products include a new Mailbox Manager application that brings voice mail capabilities to the desktop PC. The Mailbox Manager graphical user interface (GUI) allows subscribers to configure personal mailbox settings via the computer, in addition to using the telephone user interface (TUI). With this new tool, Repartee for Windows users can modify greetings, message notification, playback options and security codes from their desktop PC.
Additionally, the Repartee for Windows 2000 solutions now offer multilingual support. With 16 international prompt sets to choose from, including United Kingdom English, Spanish, German, and French, businesses are able to meet the language needs of their employees and customers. Other product improvements include expanded 48-port capacity, optional time and date stamp before message feature, and system administration console enhancements.
