Active Voice Expands Offices with New Training Center

Seattle, Washington, USA—January 12, 2006—Active Voice, LLC, a subsidiary of NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. and global provider of unified messaging, computer telephony, and voice messaging solutions, today announced that it has added a new training center to its corporate offices in Seattle, Washington.

The new training facility was built to accommodate Active Voice and NEC resellers and customers seeking training on Active Voice and NEC messaging products. The training center features security access, classroom-style seating for 12 students, kitchen, and break area. Instructor-led training courses for Active Voice's Kinesis* unified communications system and NEC's NEAXMail® AD-120 messaging system will be offered in Seattle beginning January 2006.

"We are excited to be able to offer these valuable training classes where students can interact with product experts and expand their knowledge of our messaging products," said Victor T. Foia, Active Voice's president and chief executive officer.

As industry leading providers of voice messaging and unified communications solutions, Active Voice and NEC address the communications needs of companies of all sizes – from SMB's to large enterprises, such as hotels, hospitals, and universities. The Kinesis and NEAXMail AD-120 solutions are ideal for companies that are looking for a unified communications system that fits into their Microsoft® Exchange® environment, and for organizations who experience heavy message traffic. The flexible architecture of the systems can help to minimize installation, administration, and maintenance costs—thereby lowering an organization’s total cost of ownership. By clustering Kinesis and NEAXMail AD-120 servers, organizations can handle hundreds of callers simultaneously, a common need for organizations with multiple sites and a large number of users. Unlike many unified messaging solutions available today, Kinesis and NEAXMail AD-120 support both traditional and IP communications systems, as well as hybrid environments, meeting the needs of organizations as they migrate to IP telephony.
